We have the pleasure of working with the wonderful and extremely supportive Maureen Lawson, of the CDIA BU staff. We keep her in the loop of our happenings at The Studio Noir. Recently we told her the news of our acknowledgements and she was so excited that she posted it on CDIA’s new feed. Pretty neat! :) For more on CDIA@BU, check out their website – http://cdiabu.com/

It was a beautiful day after Christmas for these two to tie the knot. The church was adorned with holiday lights, wreaths, and lots of greenery. It was gorgeous! The ceremony was followed by an authentic bagpiper. It was powerful to hear it echo inside the church. Thanks again Shannon & Nate ! We can’t wait to share the rest ! :)
We started at MUSE, a great West Des Moines salon in West Glen. The ceremony was at St. Francis of Asissi of West Des Moines, and the reception was up in Ankeny at a beautiful new golf club. Here are a few of our favorites, for now… more to come soon!

Although Nicole & Brian had had their wedding photographer chosen (his 5th grade teacher!) they liked our engagement photos from Shannon & Nate’s engagement session in Des Moines so much, that they asked for their own! (We happily obliged.) We started at the Des Moines Botanical Center, made our way to the wonderful art park downtown, and ended at the downtown skating rink – so much fun for night shots! Afterwards we went to Fong’s Pizza and had the best pizza ever – crab rangoon! The best to you both in married life !
